Learn the Top 50 French verbs with a song! We’ve made a song, “Top 50 French Verb Song (Part 1), French Song Vocabulary, FSV #3“, of some of the most popular verbs in the French language. All the verbs of the song are in the “TOP 50 FRENCH VERBS LIST”, as stated in the book “The Big Blue Book of French Verbs, 555 verbs”. (I bought this book back when I was a student and I still use it as a reference today!) This Vocabulary Set, Top 50 French Verbs (Part 1), is based on that song and we hope it will help you build a set of verbs from which to build a solid foundation on.

The Rudolph song is a beloved Christmas classic that has been translated into many languages, including French. The French version of the song, LE (PETIT) RENNE AU NEZ ROUGE, is not a word for word translation of the original English one and has a slightly different story line.

In the French version, Rudolph still ends up guiding Santa’s sleigh but the French Rudolph has a little visit to heaven and also ends up having a red nose from getting a bit tipsy (drinking too much).
